Waking Watch (also known as Fire Watch) services are provided by our Fire Safety Team for both commercial and residential properties. This is a specialised manned guarding service which involves deploying SIA licenced Security Officers to continually patrol all floors and the exterior perimeter of the building in order to respond to a fire, assist in calling the fire service and assisting with the evacuation of the residents.

Waking Watch is designed to protect both people and property in scenarios where normal levels of risk are heightened and standard risk controls are compromised. This includes utilising a simultaneous evacuation plan which is regularly tested, including PEEPs (Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans), which will be in place for vulnerable residents.

1. WAKING WATCH PATROLS

We are able to supply fully trained, uniformed fire wardens throughout the London and the home counties. All ‘Fire Marshalls’ are specifically trained in fire watch duties and provided with all of the equipment necessary to provide an effective and safe Waking Watch service.

2012 Security installed a CCTV system with monitoring for our site. This was partnered with keyholding and alarm response. What a great service! The installation went smoothly, with the friendly team on hand to ensure everything went smoothly. Where the service really excels is when someone tries to break in. There is an immediate intervention. Through the speaker system the Security Company speak to the trespasser warning them that they are being recorded and the police have been called. They then dispatch a security guard to ensure everything is secure / resolve any issues. I also get a report in the morning whenever they attend site. What a great service.
